About West Friendship
Premium contracting in West Friendship.
West Friendship is western Howard County, ZIP 21794, along MD 32 between the Frederick County line and the more suburban county to the east. Houses are detached homes on rural and semi-rural lots, not a Columbia village and not a Frederick city street. The drive from Martinsburg is I-81 north to I-70 east, then south on MD 32.
Howard County's Department of Inspections, Licenses and Permits approves and issues permits and enforces the county building codes. The office is at 3430 Courthouse Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21043, phone 410-313-2455. The Licenses and Permits Division publishes the same number, option 4. Residential building permits require electronic submission. Filing fees are nonrefundable and payable when the application is made. The county has separate electrical, plumbing, and mechanical permit applications. Fee amounts stay on the county fee schedule.
Electrical work and gas work are separately licensed trades. Real Elite does not take electrical work. The remodeling here is kitchens, bathrooms, and finished lower levels. The price is a free written estimate after a site walk.
