That is a different office from Washington County’s Division of Permits and Inspections, which covers the county outside the city, and a different sequence from Boonsboro, Funkstown, and Williamsport, where the town zones and the county reviews the building code. A Hagerstown mailing address is not always inside the city. Williamsport is south on US 11. Boonsboro is east on US 40 Alternate. Falling Waters and Martinsburg, West Virginia are south and southwest on I-81. The drive from Martinsburg is I-81 south, about half an hour.
