About Urbana
Premium contracting in Urbana.
Urbana is an unincorporated planned community in southern Frederick County, along I-270 and MD 355 south of the city. It is not a town. A Frederick mailing address does not make a parcel part of the City of Frederick, and it does not send the permit to the city office. Building permits go through Frederick County Department of Permits and Inspections. Villages of Urbana and the subdivisions along MD 355 commonly have an HOA architectural review in addition to the county permit. A county permit is not HOA approval. The drive from Martinsburg is I-81 north to I-70 east, then I-270 south. Downtown Frederick is north on I-270. Real Elite remodels bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and decks in the villages along MD 355.
