About New Market
Premium contracting in New Market.
New Market is an incorporated town in eastern Frederick County, on the Old National Pike just south of I-70. Main Street is the historic pike, not a county subdivision road. Zoning for work inside town limits is a municipal step before the Frederick County building permit. The county says a zoning certificate for a property in a municipality is applied for before the building-permit application at the Department of Permits and Inspections. The City of Frederick and Mount Airy are the municipalities that issue their own building permits. New Market is not on that list. The drive from Martinsburg is I-81 north to I-70 east. Frederick is a short drive west on I-70. Real Elite remodels kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and additions on the older pike houses and the newer lots around town.
For this area, see Permits in Frederick County: what to expect.
