About Lansdowne
Lansdowne is a planned community on the Potomac, east of Leesburg along Route 7. It is unincorporated Loudoun County. Many houses use a Leesburg mailing address, which does not make the parcel Town of Leesburg zoning. County building and zoning run through LandMARC, and exterior changes also go through the community's architectural review. The housing is mostly 1990s and 2000s production and custom homes on public water and sewer, with unfinished basements and builder-grade kitchens and primary baths. This is not a well-and-septic market. The drive from Martinsburg is Route 9 to Leesburg, then Route 7 east.
